As early as 1861, there have been exclusive brethren meeting in Toronto, Ontario. In 1878, it was the home base of F.W. Grant and S.W. Hallows at the local Temperance Hall, while Joseph Lesslie was starting a meeting that came to be known as The Tabernacle, joined by Grant and Hallows by 1879.

By 1889, J.S. Cartwright was serving in leadership alongside Lesslie, and F.W. Grant was gone, as was Hallows. That same year, J.H. McNairn started a meeting at Essery Hall in western Toronto, joined by Thomas McMahon by 1914, and they met there thru 1917.

In 1896, there was what became known as the Central Meeting at Yonge & Gerrard at the Yonge Street Arcade, starting with G. Gausby, and by 1901, it served the headquarters thru 1917 of the Bible & Tract Depot. Gausby was replaced by 1908 by J.F. Murray who, by 1914, was joined by John L. Willis thru 1917.

By 1923, the Bible & Tract Depot was moved to 1109 Bay Street in Toronto, and the assembly had relocated there as well, with C.M. Chase, E.B. Hartt, J.C. Hayhoe, A. St. Le Trigge, James Fleck, J.C. Hayhoe, and R.J. Hayhoe in fellowship and/or leadership. In 1927, James Fleck had departed.

From 1944-1951, the leadership of the Toronto Meeting Room were comprised of Walter E. Smith, R.B. Hayhoe, J.C. Hayhoe, and R.J. Hayhoe. By 1962 thru 1966, Walter E. Smith remained, joined by George E. Hayhoe and A.P. Clark.

In 1973, George E. Hayhoe remained, joined by Arthur P. Hayhoe, Lloyd Judd and Clifford Copeland. By 1985, Arthur and Clifford remained, joined by Errol Ferguson, Peter Fosters and others.

By the division of 1992, the assembly had relocated to the suburb of Old Mill, then to Mississauga where it continues to meet inside a business thru 2021. Present leadership unlisted.
