Paul Flint was born in 1914, and raised in Seattle, he married Helen Marie Sharpe in the early 1940's, their wedding was officiated by John G. Mitchell, founder of Multnomah School of the Bible, at a Presbyterian church that she was attending (while also visiting Hope Bible Chapel part-time to hear Inglis Fleming preach, which his sons Peter and Ken attended). Helen had previously attended a year at Prairie Bible Institute, but finding it rather stringent, she took opportunity at the newly founded Multnomah, may have been in the first class, and Paul attended BIOLA. Later PB missionary to Papua New Guinea, Evelyn Anderson, was also in the first class at Multnomah. Helen had initially wished to attend Moody but there was some pushback from parents who were religious but not necessarily evangelical. They later relented, but it was too late for her to register so she went to Multnomah. Paul & Helen both later attended the University of Washington.

It was a stenographer job with the Northern Pacific Railway Railroad that drew the Flints to reside in Walla Walla for a short amount of time, and they did attend the Walla Walla TW-exclusive meeting room while they were there, but when Paul contributed once at the Breaking of Bread, he was asked by some of the leading brethren there to refrain from sharing even though they assured him that what he said was fine, since he wasn't gathered out with them. Paul & Helen worked among the Cosmopolis Gospel Chapel in the mid-1940's. From 1949-1983, Paul taught at Emmaus Bible College in Oak Park, IL, before retiring and moving back to Seattle. While at Emmaus, he ministered some at Grace Bible Chapel in Springfield, Illinois in its early days, as well as at Norwood Gospel Chapel in Chicago. He co-authored Letters to Timothy and Titus with William MacDonald. Paul died in 2002.
