The Gospel Publishing House was located at 54 W. 22nd St., New York City, New York, and founded by D.T. Bass, who previously published under his own name. In a full-page advertisement for July of 1905 of The Bible Student and Teacher, a periodical, it promoted "two important books", including Pierson's The Making of a Sermon, and Anderson's "For Us Men: Chapters on Redemption Truths", and an offer was made of a 72-page catalogue of Bible Books and Gospel Tracts.

In another full-page advertisement in the May of 1908 issue of The Institute Tie, published by [[Moody Bible Institute, several "important new books" were promoted:

  • Anderson, Sir Robert. In Defence.
  • Bingham, Helen E. An Irish Saint: "Holy Ann"
  • Dyer, Helen E. Revival in India.
  • Latimer, H.L. Dr. Baedeker and His Apostolic Work in Russia
  • Mauro, Philip. The World and Its God
  • Mauro, Philip. Man's Day
  • Pierson, Dr. A.T. A Spiritual Clinique: Four Bible Readings delivered by the author at the Keswick Conferences in 1907.
  • Pierson, Dr. A.T. The Bible and Spiritual Life

Then in the November 1910 issue of Record of Christian Work, an inter-denominal periodical, a full-page advertisement on the inside cover promotes "New Books - New Editions" from a variety of authors. It also promoted The Scofield Bible: The Best Bible to Buy to Christian Workers.
