"Thanks for the gift which reached me just at the close of the tent season here. Have just completed ten weeks of nightly meetings with good interest, even this last week we had about a hundred people in the tent a few nights listening attentively. We have learned of fourteen who have professed faith in Christ, a number of them good cases of conversion. So far we have baptized ten and some more are taking this step this Sunday afternoon.
Due to some brethren who live here who were saved some time ago, we believe they will be able to carry on a small testimony for our Lord Jesus Christ. The meetings here have had a wide-spreading effect as continually faces would be seen in the tent from many miles around.
Pray for these sheep whom we are leaving to the care of the Great Shepherd as we press on later into other fields, hoping to return here next season. Bro. Mackay has been helping here. We appreciate the interest in pioneer work and trust it will grow and be the means of reaching more of the untouched millions in that vast country."
