History
In 1927, Ira Blocher lived with his wife Hazel and family in Minnewaukan, Benson, N.D., and presumably had a meeting room in their home. They had previously lived in Long Beach, Los Angeles, California where their son Leon was born in 1919. At some juncture, the family relocated from North Dakota to Mason City, Iowa, where they were in fellowship with the meeting room there until the end of Ira's life in 1941. A year later, Hazel relocated to Des Moines where she was in fellowship with the Buchanan Street Meeting Room until her homegoing in 1972.
