History
Beginning in 1971, Gospel meetings and Bible studies were conducted every Friday evening in a room made over into a small chapel in the home of Roger Drouyn who would be commended to the work in 1975. Believers traveled to Sorel on Sundays for the Lord's Supper, a trip of 25 to 30 miles. In September 1974, the Breaking of Bread was celebrated for the first time at Saint-Guillaume. By 1984, Roger Drouyn had left the work. Emilio Fortin then laboured here for a brief period of time before moving on. The assembly continued briefly until its closure in 1988.
