By May of the following year, the assembly counted some thirty participants. Denis Veilleux, who had moved to the area from Montmagny where he had been in assembly fellowship, served as correspondent. Others, including Réjean and Thérèse Cloutier as well as Pierre Pellerin and his wife Claudette had come from the assembly meeting at Longueuil where they had been in fellowship for several years.
