The earliest known PB assembly in Dearborn or Dearborn Heights, Detroit, Wayne, Michigan was founded prior to 1901 and met thru 1904 as Coonville Gospel Hall reflecting a place name of the era.
Dearborn Chapel is an open brethren assembly in Dearborn Heights, Detroit, Wayne, Michigan that was founded in 1927 in Detroit homes as a Grant exclusive meeting known as the 16th Street Assembly. By 1936, it had split as per an OB assembly address period of the time, and moved into the suburb of Dearborn, renamed as Dearborn Assembly Hall, and rebranded as Dearborn Chapel in 1945. In 1962, it moved to its present location in Dearborn Heights.
There was also a Kelly (KLC) assembly in the area in 1977 named Dearborn Heights Christian Assembly which is presumed to have been the Grant-Booth meeting that remained in the mid-1930's.
In 1970, there was another open brethren meeting started by Orvel Breeding of Lincoln Park, known as Grace Gospel Chapel on 2702 Salina St. in Dearborn.
