Albert was stationed in Vancouver in the early days of WWII, and his family relocated there in 1941, only for him to be almost immediately transferred back to Winnipeg, Manitoba, but his wife and children stayed there until 1944 when they returned as well.  There was no assembly when the Harman family arrived in Vancouver, due to the McDowell division that had claimed most of the families with them until 1968 when they returned to the TW's. In the early 1940's, the Harman family home hosted a few ladies that attended to remember the Lord with them.
