William Ingram, Baldwinton, Sask.:

"This is a land of great distances. Last winter I spent some time with the late R.F. Varder when the temperature was 55 below zero. See letter on back page.

In the schoolhouses, one gets good audiences. Hardships are plentiful, but God has blessed His work. There are a number of small assemblies bravely holding forth for God in Alberta and Sask., Canada.

As it was so cold and difficult to do much, I crossed the line in the month of March, made a few visits to isolated places, stopped over a week with Christians at Phoenix, Ariz., a number of them all seriously sick, living in the desert there about ten miles from Phoenix.

I would like to tell you of a sister I met there who had dedicated her life to the Lord in seeking to nurse T.B. cases down there. She came from St. Louis several years ago with lung trouble; after two years living on the desert, she recovered; she then dedicated her life to the Lord in seeking to care for the sick. At present she has a young woman under her care with both of her lungs seriously infected.

She has nursed her night and day for two years now. This woman is entirely dependent on the Lord to meet her need; and she purposes, if the Lord meets the need, to build several cottages for a Sanitorium for the use of fellow Christians from the meetings who are sick and in quest of health. She says if they can pay their own expenses, they will be welcome; if they can’t, in dependence on the Lord she will endeavor to take care of them.

Her address is: Miss Thiel, 909 E. Garfield, Phoenix, Arizona. She will be glad to give any information to any enquirers regarding the work."
