The 1949 Workers and Elders Conference was held on Nov. 8-10 at Central Gospel Hall Mission, 222 N. 12th St., Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the contact was Everett T. Mauger.
In a 1949-10 issue of Letters of Interest, J.D. Ferguson (Cumberland, ON) indicated intent to attend this conference.
In the same issue of LOI, there was an article, "Program Outline for Workers' Meet": "The imminence of our Lord's coming and the consequent need for propagating and emphasizing church truths and for pioneering are the proposed major themes for the annual Christian Workers' Conference at Philadelphia, Tuesday through Thursday, November 8, 9, and 10.
