Raised in Des Moines, Iowa in what was the largest Tunbridge Wells meeting in the world.  Moved to Los Angeles for work (computer engineering) in 1958 and joined up with the meeting in the Buena Vista area... in 1993 their assembly made a decision to leave the TW's for Open, and gradually shrank from 200 to a fraction...
