History
Assemblée Chrétienne de Saint-Boniface, Saint-Boniface, Maskinongé, Central Quebec, Canada was a French open brethren assembly begun by Denis Legendre of Grand'mere around 2003 that existed thru at least 2004.
Denis Legendre's parents were among the first in nearby Shawinigan to trust the Lord. They had seven children and cottage meetings were often held in their small apartment. Later Mr. Legendre often took a gospel meeting; he was a forceful speaker. At the age of forty the Lord took him home after a year of terrible suffering from cancer. His son, Denis, became an elder in the Shawinigan assembly, a most conscientious man who took most of the responsibility for the wellbeing of the assembly. He eventually left this assembly to begin the one at Saint-Boniface.
