Anderson family

WiS 1942-9: Barrington, NJ: "On Aug. 7, William Anderson departed to be with Christ. Age 80. Saved 45 years ago (1897) in Ireland, and in fellowship in 20th & Dickinson Assembly, Philadelphia, for many years. He was also in the Barrington, NJ Assembly from its beginning. Bre. W. Bousfield and John Rankin took the services."

Davidson family

WiS 1942-7: Gloucester, NJ: "On May 16, Annie Moon Davidson passed into the presence of the King. Saved a good number of years. Formerly connected with the Mascher St. (Philadelphia) assembly and later with Barrington and Gloucester, N.J. assemblies. A godly sister, and loved by all who knew her. Bren. Chas. Keller, J. Conoway and Davidson spoke at the services. W. Bousfield took part in prayer."

Eisele family

• Gustav Adolph Eisele 1912-1967 (b. 1879 Phil., PA - d. 1967 Camden, NJ), son of Jakob Friedrich "Frederick" Eisele II (b. 1839 Alb-Donau-Kreis, Germany - d. 1911 Camden, NJ). Frederick was employed in Philadelphia in 1880 as a bread baker. Gustav was employed in 1910 as a foreman machinist, and by 1920 as a toolmaker of gas mantels. He is popularly regarded as a key founder of this assembly.
  • S. Naomi Eisele Scott 1915-2004 (b. 1915 Centre, Camden, NJ - d. 2004 Moorestown, Burlington, NJ). Husband: William James Scott +1940-1984 (b. 1912 Phil., PA - d. 1984 Moorestown, NJ). William served as an elder at Barrington for many years. see Scott family Their son-in-law, John McPherson Amadio (b. 1936 Ardmore, PA - d. 2022 Evesham Twp., NJ) was the primary correspondent for many years for the assembly, previously raised at the Bryn Mawr Gospel Hall in the Philadelphia area of Pennsylvania. John's father was in fellowship at Bryn Mawr from his 23rd birthday in 1918 until his death in 1974. See Bryn Mawr Gospel Hall, PA. In 1940, John was residing in Barrington, and employed with the Philadelphia & Norfolk Steamship Co., and in 1950 was supervising a chemical company.

McClintock family

WiS 1939-10: Fallen Asleep: Barrington, NJ: "On Saturday, Sept. 2, while driving home from a children's meeting in the Barrington Hall, Mrs. David McClintock was suddenly ushered into eternity through an automobile accident. Her husband was unable to leave the hospital to attend her funeral on account of injuries he received as a result of the collision. In her 63rd year. She was connected with the Society of Friends (or Quakers) until saved at meetings held by the late Walter Beveridge in South Jersey 35 years ago. Continued steadfast in the things of God ever since. A large number of Quakers attended the services which were large. Bren. Beveridge and Young spoke at the services."

Moon family

WiS 1938-3: Fallen Asleep: Barrington, NJ: "Mrs. Wm. Moon went to be with Christ on Jan. 15. For many years in Mascher St., Phila., Pa. assembly. A good Christian gone. Survived by 6 children, all saved. Bren. Watson and Young spoke at services."

• William Moon, Sr. +1915-1923 (b. 1860 Londonderry, Ireland; emig. 1901; d. 1923 Camden Co., NJ). In 1901, WIlliam was employed in Ireland then in Philadelphia as a shipyard jointer. Their last residence in Ireland was at 7 Bandon St., Clifton, Antrim, Ireland.
• Elizabeth Brizzel Moon +1915-1938 (b. 1858 Londonderry, Ireland - d. 1938 Haddon Heights, NJ), daughter of Margrett Brizzel-McQuade (b. 1822 Londonderry, Ire.). Formerly lived in Barrington. Memorial was at Barrington Gospel Hall.

  • Helen Moon Romeo +1915-1920+ (b. 1889 N.I.). Husband: Frank Romeo (b. 1895 Italy; emig. 1913; d. 1956 Westmont, NJ). In 1920, Helen was employed as a presser in a pen factory. In 1930, Frank operated a cigar shop in Haddonfield.

Husband (1948 @ First Baptist, Haddonfield, NJ): David Bissett Davidson (b. 1925 - d. 2014), son of William James Davidson (b. 1879 Bellaghy, Londonderry, N.I. - d. 1959 Gloucester, NJ) & Annie Jane Thompson Davidson (b. 1882 Port Glasgow, Renfrew, Scot. - d. 1938 Gloucester, NJ). William was a retired employee of the New York Shipbuilding Corp.

Sands family

WiS 1933-12: Barrington, NJ: "On Oct. 24, Ebenezer Sands, after a brief illness went to be with Christ. Aged 69 years. Saved at an open air meeting in Glasgow, Scotland. In fellowship at Hope Hall, Glasgow and New Mills, Ayrshire, before coming to America. In Mascher St. (Philadelphia) and Barrington, N.J., for the past 25 years. One who loved the Lord and will be missed. Charles Keller and Robert Young spoke to a large company at the services."

• Ebenezer Sands 1912?-1933 (b. 1864 High Church, Glasgow, Scot.; emig. 1905; d. 1933 Haddon Heights, Camden, NJ), son of Hugh Brown Sands (b. 1827 Glasgow, Scot.) & Flora McDonald Devine Sands (b. 1831 Glasgow, Scot.; m. 1850 @ Glasgow, Scot.). Wife: Sarah Thorn Cairns Sands (b. 1864 Glasgow, Scot.)

Hugh was employed in Glasgow in the textile industry as a "cloth-lapper" who transferred yarn between machines. In 1881, a 17-year-old Ebenezer was employed as a blacksmith's apprentice, but soon joined the same industry as his father, and continued as a cotton finisher for a textile company in Philadelphia. In 1901, while Ebenezer & Sarah were still residing in Glasgow, Hugh lived with them, as did a 1-month-old baby named Laurance Dunn. Their final Scottish residence was in Darvel, East Ayrshire which is nine miles east of Kilmarnock.

They emigrated on July 23, 1905 on the Caledonia, initially headed to the home of Ebenezer's brother Victor Sands in New York, and his brother-in-law's at 352 Indian Ave., Philadelphia. In 1908, they resided at 2733 Waterloo, and in 1912 at 112 E. Steiner in Philadelphia. In 1930, at 1414 Oak Street in Haddon Heights.
