Manchester Gospel Hall is/was an open brethren assembly in Manchester, Hartford Co., Connecticut that was founded in 1905/1909 as a hive from Scranton Gospel Hall in Lackawanna Co., northeastern Pennsylvania. Founders from Scranton included James McCormick, Thomas Eckle and William Emerson. In 1922, the assembly met at the Salvation Army when it was located on Spruce St. Later it met at E. Center & Main St in the old Town Hall. By 1925, it had moved into its current location at 415 Center St., see Google Maps for a current photo of the Hall. The earliest known correspondent was James Serpliss (b. 1879 Co. Armagh, Northern Ireland - d. 1938 Manchester, CT), which he served 1909-1935.
