John, Sr. & Mary Jane Armstrong were Methodists. John, Jr. & Victoria wee of the Botha United Church. John Jr. came to Stettler in 1906, then to Botha where he lived 35 years, and moved to Calgary in 1940.

Annie Munro and her sister Reta worked as clerks for a general store in Red Deer in 1916, and lodged with Thomas Mark Wright and his wife Lucy Wright, an Anglican family.

Husband (1905 @ Bowden, AB): Samuel Walter Hewitt (b. 1883 Bracebridge, Simcoe, ON - d. 1965 Innisfail, AB), son of William Hewitt & Abigail Willis Hewitt. William Hewitt was born in Macauley, Ireland, managed a hotel in Bracebridge, and was CoE in 1871. Samuel came to Innisfail as a child (after 1891), and was credited in his obit as a "pioneer resident" of that area. He homesteaded in the Knee Hill Valley district early in life, then became a cattle buyer in Innisfail. He served overseas with the 187th Battalion in WWI. Walter Love & John L. Tiebe officiated his memorial.

Husband: Frederick Allen "Fred" Smith (b. 1882 Woodstock, Oxford, ON - d. 1965 Innisfail, AB), son of Anthony Smith (b. 1838 Pittington, Durham, Eng. - d. 1924 Innisfail, ON) & Charity Eliza Jury Smith (b. 1851 Ashreigney, Torridge, Devon, Eng., m. 1876 Blandford, Oxford, ON, d. 1929 Innisfail, AB). Anthony & Charity were Episcopalian in 1876.

Husband (1911 @ : Wilbert John Carter (b. 1893 Huron Co., ON - d. 1966 Red Deer, AB), son of Albert Emmanuel Carter (b. 1866 - d. 1942 Benalto, Red Deer, AB) & Flora Campbell Fulton Carter (b. 1865, m. 1887, d. 1952 Edmonton, AB). Wilbert was raised Presbyterian, which is what he and Sadie were registered as in 1921. Kenneth Grant performed Sadie's memorial service.
