Biography
- born May 28, 1917 in Innisvale (Innisfail), AB to Gilbert and Mary Grant
- saved at 17 years old
- worked in an optical firm until 25 at which time he was called to labour for the Lord
- during this time of early ministry, he travelled via bicycle among farmers in the Peace River Country (Northern Alberta)
- he lived in a trappers cabin and the assembly in Westlock shared in the fruit of his labours
- married Frances Smiley of Staples, Minnesota on January 8th, 1948
- all nine of their children were born in Westlock, AB, two sons and seven daughters
- Leslie and his father, Gilbert, helped in planting the assembly in Edmonton (Grace and Truth Gospel Hall)
- in 1974, Leslie and Frances moved to Seattle, Washington with their children who were still at home.
- he died July 29, 2011.
