Engweiler family
- Adolph Engweiler 1891-1939 (b. 1859 Constance, Tägerwilen, Thurgau, Switzerland; emig. 1881; d. 1939 Normal, IL), son of Henry Engweiler & Margaret Engweiler. Sister: Mrs. Catherine Mier.
- Alice Bertha Pemberton Engweiler (b. 1860 IL; m. 1899 McLean Co., IL). Daughter of Isaac H. Pemberton (b. 1836 Harrison, Perry, OH - d. 1919 Bloomington, IL) & Mary Jane Lindley Pemberton (1832-1875 Bloomington, IL). The Pemberton family farmed in 1870 at Lees Summit, Jackson, MO. No close relation to the founder of Coca-Cola.
Leitch family
George Murray Leitch lived at 1003 E. Front St. and was a founder of the Bloomington Meeting Room by 1894. He was employed in 1910-1920 as a shipping clerk for a local fire finance foundry. His parents were from Ohio, but lived in Bloomington by 1879.
- George W. Leitch (b. 1841 Mason, Warren, OH - d. 1917 Milwaukee, WI) enlisted in Hamilton, OH in the Civil War 1861-1862 with the 35th Ohio Infantry, and relocated in 1902 to Milwaukee to reside at a home for disabled veterans. Son of William Leitch (b. 1805 PA - d. Mason, OH) & Hannah Althea Holcombe Gaylord-Leitch (b. 1801 VT - d. 1896 Hamilton, Butler, OH). In 1850, William was a retail merchant in 1850 in Deerfield, Mason, OH. Hannah's parents were Jonathan Holcomb (b. 1762 MA - d. 1847 Warren Co., OH) & Hannah Everest Holcomb (b. 1777 CT).

Carhartt (b. 1860 Delaware Co., OH - d. 1910 Jefferson Co., KS), son of Lewis Carhartt (b. 1817 Otsego, N.Y. - d. 1889 Thompsonville, Jefferson, KS) & Nancy W. Pearson Carhartt (b. 1820 Frost, Athens, OH - d. 1895 Wilson, Ellsworth, KS).
