Emmons Eugene Hutchins was born on Aug. 6, 1896 in Kingfield, Franklin, Maine, and died in 1981 there. In the early to mid-1960's he lived in nearby Strong, where he may have been a contact for the Strong Meeting Room, a Tunbridge Wells exclusive assembly.

Emmons was the son of Leonard Franklin Hutchins (b. 1866 Kennebunkport, York, ME - d. 1945 Kingfield, Franklin, ME) & Allura N. "Linnie" Abbott Hutchins (1875-1929 Franklin, ME).
