Grace and Truth Gospel Hall, Edmonton, AB

History
The assembly in Edmonton was planted by the work of God in the hearts of people through the faithful labour of His servant, Leslie M. Grant. A small number of brothers and sisters in Christ, who fellowshipped among the Booth-Grant associated assemblies, moved into the area. Among them was Thomas Blake and Sara Letts who grew up fellowshipping at the meeting in Sunnybank, AB. For a number of years, Leslie M. Grant laboured in Westlock, preaching the gospel and teaching the believers. In 1956, Leslie and his family moved to Edmonton. Shortly after this move, Gilbert and Mary Grant also moved in with Leslie for 5 years before moving to their own apartment. The believers met in the home of Leslie M. and Francis Grant until they purchased a lot at 8108 130 Avenue N.W., Edmonton, AB. Carl Grant, Leslie and Francis' eldest son, remembers helping his dad build the hall in 1963/64 as a teenager. Ten years later, the culmination in many reunions among the 'exclusive,' or guarded/closed table assemblies occurred in 1974 bringing the little assembly in Edmonton into fellowship with what is commonly referred to as the 'Reunited" or 'Kelly-Lowe-Continental' group.
