There has been a TW-N assembly meeting in Denton, Texas since the early 1960's. In +1878-1880+, Mrs. Isaac Langford lived in the area, in fellowship with exclusives. In the early 1960's, the Tonn, Renfro and Johnson families commenced the meeting room. It is probable that prior to this, some of them met at the meeting room in Dallas, and others in the DFW area.

In the early 1990's, several split from this assembly to start an independent called Denton Christian Assembly (TW-P), including Paul L. Johnson (co-founder of the DMR), and Tim Vanderhoek, that may be affiliated with the (ex-Taylor Ravenites) Rentonites.
