Homestead Gospel Hall was founded about 1894 at Homestead, Alleghany, PA as an early open brethren assembly, by John Samuel Hargrave (1860-1950). It merged in 1933 with McKeesport Gospel Hall. It met from at least 1904 thru 1927 at 219 16th Ave., near Mifflin St.
The 1926 USCoRB indicated that there were 55 in fellowship (20 men, 35 women) including 7 S.S. teachers, presiding over 60 children (for a total of 115). The Hall was a rented facility (with $383 in annual expenses), and $690 was additionally spent towards the Lord's work in 1926.
