As per his obit, in 1882, Timothy Bestick was employed as a morocco dresser, tanning leather in a shoe factory in Haverhill. Wife (1918 @ Manchester, NH): Laurie Mabel Follansbee Brent (b. 1898 Weare, Hillsborough, NH - d. 1987 Flagler Beach, Flagler, FL), daughter of Clarence Ardelle Follansbee (b. 1867 Weare, Hillsborough, NH - d. 1951 Riverdale, NH) & Gracie Hannah Leeds Follansbee (b. 1874 Weare, NH - d. 1921 Manchester, NH). In 1920, Frank was an inspector in a shoe shop in Manchester, then a stitcher in 1930, and a "Goodyear Stitcher" from +1940-1950+. In 1942, it was J. Franklin McElwaine's shoe factory on Main St. which celebrated 200 million Thom McAn shoes in 1951, and the largest shoe factory in the U.S. at one point.

Gamache (b. 1868 Ste-Louise, L'Islet, QC - d. 1904 St. Damas, QC) & Mathilda Ouellet Gamache (b. 1875 St. Jean De Dien, QC - d. 1949 Windham, CT). In 1923, Walter was employed as a weaver, and Rosie as a room girl at the mill. RC wedding. He was living in Miami by 1927, working in 1930 as a bookkeeper for a newspaper. In 1942, he was employed under L.D. Llewellyn in South Miami, and in 1950 still in Miami employed as a bookkeeper for a gas company.

Husband (1922 @ Manchester, NH): Albert Belair Guay (b. 1888 Laconia, NH - d. 1972 Franklin, NH), son of Noah Guay (b. 1868 Point Levis, QC; emig. 1870; d. 1931 Manchester, NH) & Marie Delphine Exelia/Josephine Belair Guay (b. 1870 Ham Nord, Arthabaska, QC; emig. 1885; d. 1942 Revere, Suffolk, MA).

Connor family

• Thomas "Tommie" Joseph Connor +1900-1901+ (b. 1887 Manchester, NH - d. 1960 Dover, Windham, VT), son of John J. Connor (b. 1860 Ireland - d. 1941 Manchester, NH) & Sarah J. Conroy Connor (1867-1927 Manchester, NH; m. 1886). In 1900, John Connor was employed as a policeman in Manchester until prior to 1930 when he became a courthouse messenger. The Connor family emigrated from Ireland in 1860. Thomas grad Holy Cross College n 1908, and the North American College in Rome in 1911, and pastored RC churches in Nashua, Gorham and Littleton. He also served as chancellor of the RC diocese of Manchester, and pastor of St. Mary's of Dover.

  • Mary Buchannan Gourley Brown +1900-1905+ (b. 1887 Glasgow, Scot. - d. 1970 Brentwood, Rockingham, NH). Husband: Woodbury Lyman Brown (b. 1879 Deerfield, NH - d. 1970 Brentwood, NH), son of Benjamin Franklin Brown (1838-1916 Deerfield, NH) & Martha A. Tilton Brown (1844-1926 Deerfield, NH). Woodbury was a descendant of Peter Brown/Browne (b. 1594 Hawkedon, Suffolk, Eng. - d. 1633 Plymouth, MA), who emigrated on the Mayflower in 1620, and was a popular carpenter and builder. Peter married his first wife 1624-5 at Plymouth, a widow Martha Ford (b. 1589 Bruton, Somerset, Eng. - d. 1647 Plymouth, MA), who emigrated on the "Fortune" in 1621.
  • Sarah Gourley Brown +1903-1905+ (b. 1890 Fullerton, Lehigh, PA - d. 1942 Deerfield, Rockingham, NH). Husband: Alvah Burton Brown (b. 1882 Deerfield, NH - d. 1964 Exeter, Rockingham, NH), brother of Sarah's sister Mary's husband Woodbury Brown (1879-1970).

Kimball family

James was a veteran of the Civil War, active Nov. 9, 1861 - Aug. 31, 1864, enlisted in Manchester by Col. Haldemand Sumner Putnam (b. 1836 Cornish City, Sullivan, NH - d. 1863 Fort Wagner, SC) who was killed in action while in command of the 2nd Brigade during an attack on Fort Wagner, SC. Haldemand was a son of John Lyscom Putnam (1792-1875 Cornish, NH) & Adeline Matilda Sumner Putnam (b. 1811 Claremont, NH - d. 1893 Corinth, VT)

• James A. Kimball +1896+ (b. 1841 - d. 1945). 1894 @ 39 Arlington. 1895-1896 @ 258 East High. 1897-1903 @ 881 Somerville, Manchester. Employed as a carpenter except in 1901 as a milkman. In 1903, he relocated to Los Angeles, CA where he opened up a carpenter shop at 1227 S. Figueroa, while residing at 1122 W. 17th. His shop is now part of the Los Angeles Convention Center, nearest the Gilbert Lindsay Plaza.
