John Alexander Ryrie (1827-1904) is great-grandfather to Charles Caldwell Ryrie who developed the "Ryrie Study Bible". John served as correspondent to an Exclusive assembly in 1879 in Alton, Illinois, a suburb of St. Louis, MO.
