Gribbon family
In 1880, William Sr. was employed as a linen merchant, residing at 242 Paulison Ave., Passaic, of which its closest location is a residential headquarters for the Passaic Dental Associates, currently a block from the public library and a local high school. William's wife Mary was employed as a housekeeper.
William's son, Dr. Henry Alexander Gribbon, studied at Pennington Seminary (founded in 1838 by Methodist Episcopals with support of Presybterians), Pratt Institute in Brooklyn (founded in 1887) & NYU's College of Medicine (founded in 1841 as per Wikipedia). He graduated the latter in 1899, setting up an allopathic practice that year in Poughkeepsie at what is now the Vassar Bros. Medical Center (owned by Nuvance Health) that has served the Mid-Hudson Valley since 1887.
