John Alexander Ryrie (1827-1904) was grandfather to Charles Caldwell Ryrie who developed the "Ryrie Study Bible".  John served as correspondent for the Alton Meeting Room in +1878-1879+ in Alton, Illinois, a suburb of St. Louis, MO.
