In 1924, Arthur & Mary were both employed with the Rochester Telephone Co., Mary was an operator. Their wedding was officiated by Dr. Paul Stratton (b. 1876 Millville, Cumberland, NJ - d. 1942 Holley, Orleans, NY), pastor of Brighton Presby. and Westminster Presby., both in Rochester. Dr. Stratton died in 1942 of a heart attack while polishing his car, at the time (1935-1942) pastoring at First Presby. of Holley.
