• 1918-10-5: "Prophetic Lectures: Mr. W.J. McClure will extend his series of prophetic lectures at the new Gospel Hall, 1001 Lincoln avenue, corner Chapin street, Alameda, on Sunday next, October 6, at 7:45 p.m., and every evening next week, Saturday excepted, at the same hour. Mr. McClure is a most interesting speaker and it will be worth your while to hear him."

• 1918-10-12: "Bethany Hall, 1940 23rd Ave., East Oakland: The Gospel of God's Peace will be preached in the above hall on Sunday next, 13th inst., at 7:45 p.m. Prayer meeting Friday, 17th inst., at 7:45 p.m. You are heartily invited to attend." (see Oakland Gospel Hall, CA)

Mr. W.J. McClure will continue his Prophetic Lectures at the Gospel Hall, 1051 Lincoln avenue, Alameda (Alameda Gospel Hall, CA). Subject for Sunday 13, inst. at 7:45 p.m., "The Revived Roman Empire (The United States of Europe): It's Coming Great Head, and the Jews Back In Palestine, Passing Through the Great Tribulation Under Him". All are invited to hear this most interesting lecture. There are no collections taken up at these meetings."

• According to 1918-12-7 Oakland Tribune, McClure was scheduled to conclude this series at Alameda Gospel Hall, with special meetings at Bethany Gospel Hall in East Oakland in the subsequent week.

• 1919-3-22: "Bethany Hall, 1940 23rd ave., bet. E. 19th and E. 20th East Oakland, Dr. E.A. Martin of Providence, R.I., will give an address to Christians at the above hall on Sunday, 23d inst., at 3 o'clock. The subject will be "The Lord's Second Coming to Take His Waiting People Home", as found in First Thessalonians, 4th chapter, 16-17 verses. He will also give a gospel address on same evening at 7:45 o'clock, and on Tuesday, 25th, and Friday, 28th inst., he will again give an address at Bethany Hall at 7:45 p.m.

Thursday, 27th inst., he will speak at the new Gospel Hall, cor. Lincoln ave. and Chapin st., Alameda, at 7:45 p.m. You are heartily invited to be present at these meetings. Hebrews, 2nd chap. 3d verse: "How shall we escape if we neglect so great salvation?"
