Anna Mabel "Mercy" Roberts Loizeaux was born March 24, 1845 in Westford, Otsego, New York, the daughter of Leander Roberts (1817-1900) and Fannie Elizabeth Howe Roberts (1821-1902). She was married to Timothy Ophir Loizeaux (b. 1843 France - d. 1927 Plainfield, N.J.), one of the founders of the Loizeaux Brothers publishing, initially among the Grant exclusives then open brethren. Anna penned Sketches For My Grandchildren in 1915, stories of her family.
