An assembly at Creighton, Nebraska began prior to 1948, and ministered to the area until about 1982. From +1948-1954, it met in the home of Tell T. Sandoz, Jr. (b. 1900 Verdigre, NE - d. 1989 Hayward, CA), who operated a local jewelry store (as well as at other eras in Seattle, WA, Verdigre, NE, Vista & Lemon Grove, CA) before retiring in 1973. He was a son of Tell Henry Sandoz (b. 1851 Neuchatel, Switzerland - d. 1917 Veridgre, NE).

According to a "Letters of Interest" from Nov. 1952, the assembly numbered about a dozen, and gathered in homes for the Breaking of Bread, Tuesday prayer and Bible study, and Friday bible study. It was noted that former Emmaus students Daniel E. "Dan" & Evelyn Girdner were a help to the assembly. Further, "recent outside ministry has included that of Michael Hoffman, the Logan family (the Municipal Hall was rented for two evenings and attendance was excellent), and an encouraging tent campaign was conducted here by Ben Tuininga and George Hoekstra."

The forementioned Daniel E. Girdner (b. 1927 Cornville Yavapai, AZ - d. 2001 Fontanelle, IA) and his wife Evelyn hosted the assembly in their home from 1955-1982. Daniel was a son of Glen C. Girdner (1897-1988) and Marie Ellen Holcomb (1900-1963). His mother was a daughter of Horace Apollos Holcomb (b. 1852 Dryden, MI - d. 1931 AZ), who was the founder of Immanuel Mission, a Navajo outreach in Arizona.
