L'Annonciation preaching point, QC
From BrethrenPedia
From ca. 1908-1911, there was a Mrs. F.A. White residing in L'Annonciation, Antoine-Labelle, Laurentides, Central Quebec, Canada, whose area may have been a preaching point for the Tunbridge Wells Brethren.
This was possibly Mrs. Alfred Freeman White, aka Maria Louisa Allan White (b. 1857 NS - d. 1937 Montreal, QC). Maria was a daughter of James (b. 1815 Scotland) & Margret (b. 1814 NS) Allan.
In 1871, this family lived in Ragged Island, Shelburne, N.S., and were neighbors with John Rae (b. 1831 England) and his wife Eliza (b. 1829 England) who were practicing PB at the time.
