History

Newman Place Christian Assembly, Montreal, Southcentral Quebec, Canada is a TW-N exclusive brethren assembly founded in the home of William Craig Baynes in 1856, and known most popularly as Natural History Hall where it met at McGill University for many years. 

Previously in 1843, Baynes had founded what is possibly the first assembly in Canada in Kingsey Falls, Durham-Sud, Centre-du-Quebec, which was last known as the Sydenham Place Meeting Room.

There was also an affiliated Bible & Tract Depot @ 97 City Councillors St. +1923-1927+, and at 2031 City Councillors St. +1933-1944+.
