Sarnia Gospel Hall originated as an open brethren assembly after some Gospel meetings in 1887, which meets to this day. This meeting was listed as the Sarnia Gospel Room in a British list of meetings around the globe, a 1904 revision of an 1897 list by J.W. Jordan.
- Who's Who at Sarnia Gospel Hall, ON 1887-2021+
It is worthwhile to note that there was an exclusive brethren Sarnia Meeting Room started sometime before 1861 which met thru 1905 in the area, and there were also TW exclusives living there from the 1930's thru the 1960's, disconnected with Sarnia Gospel Hall, which is an open brethren meeting. It is highly probable that John Nelson Darby ministered to this exclusive group in his travels in North America, perhaps in 1861.
