Reed family

Lester came into the Raven-Taylor EB he was a teenager, his parents were both in fellowship there also. In the 1940's, he "got away from the Lord" due to difficulty with WWII and substance abuse challenges. He was withdrawn from in 1950-1951 for bringing a television into the house. He repented of the substance abuse in the last 35 years of his life and sought to live for the Lord for the remainder. His wife Margaret was subsequently withdrawn from for refusing to "judge" him in 1951.

In Richard's pre-teen years, his family allowed him to attend an open brethren Sunday School which was instrumental in his salvation. Richard and his son Jonathan were actively involved with Dover Bible Fund after Larry Wolf's retirement. Richard's wife Joy was an assistant coordinator for the York Housing Authority until her death. Richard was a chemistry and science teacher for 20 years including in the South Western High School and York Tech. He earned his B.Sci. degree from West Chester University, and a Masters in education.

Spilde family

As per his obit, Rodney was a farmer and business owner in Aberdeen, S.D. many years, and a Navy veteran. He and his wife Berdella were married for over 50 years. Their daughter Melody married Jonathan Reed who operated the Dover Bible Fund for many years.
