L&L 1944-6: "Mrs. Robert Boardman, Attleboro, Mass., was called home to be with Christ early Lord's Day, April 16, in her sleep as a result of a fall ten days earlier. She had expressed a desire two days before to go to sleep and wake up in Glory. She was a quiet, godly Christian and will be much missed by her family and the assembly. Brethren Carter of New Bedford and Haining of Pawtucket spoke fitting words at the funeral service."

Stebbings family

Arthur & his brother Frank Matheson Stebbings (b. 1906 Bradford, Eng. - d. 1997 Warwick, Kent, R.I.) owned the Hope Printing Co. which printed stationery, commercial and job printing, advertising cards, and office supplies. It was located at 126 Union in 1942, which is where Arthur lived. In 1939, the Hope office was at 149 Pine, Arthur lived @ 287 S. Main, and Frank @ 217 Lowden, Pawtucket, R.I. Frank's wife was Edith May Shelburne Stebbings (b. 1916 Chicago, IL - d. 1982 Providence, R.I.)

• Arthur Ord Stebbings 1935-1944+ (b. 1908 Bradford, Manchester, Eng. - d. 1999 Attleboro, MA), son of Osborne Henry Stebbings (b. 1874 Suffolk Twaite) & Mary Elizabeth Dixon Stebbings (b. 1874 Bradford, Manchester, Eng. - d. 1951 Central Falls, R.I.).
