- Esther Mary Kersey Brandon 1919/1925-1996 (1910-1996); T&T Homecall: "Mrs. James Brandon of Lake Shore, Ontario on August 31, age 86. Our dear sister was born again as a girl of 15 in meetings by Albert Joyce and Tom Wilkie. She was in happy fellowship in the Lake Shore assembly for 70 years. She was a sweet fragrance of Christ to all who knew her. Her husband, two sons, four grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a brother and sister mourn her loss. Norman Crawford took her funeral." Brown family
- Bob Brown 1975-2020+
- Jean Brown 1975-2020 (1932-2020); T&T: "Jean Brown of Lambton Shores, ON, on March 9, 2020, age 87. Born Elma Jean Van Ellen in Iowa, Jean was saved at age 14 under the preaching of Leonard DeBuhr and Oliver Smith. She moved to Detroit, MI, at age 19 to look for work and was in fellowship at the Ferndale assembly. There she met Bob Brown to whom she was married for 60 years. For the past 45 years, Bob and Jean resided in Lambton Shores and were in fellowship in the Lake Shore assembly. Despite her failing health, Jean attended meetings at the assembly up until two weeks before her passing. George Telfer spoke at her funeral and gave a gospel message from Isaiah 53:5 – the verse through which Jean was saved. Bob, their three children, and eight grandchildren attested to her love for the Lord through her servant character, content disposition and unwavering prayer life."
Dyck family
- Robert Dyck +1978-2008 : T&T: "Robert Dyck of Lambton Shores, ON, on March 16, in his 64th year, departed to be with Christ. He was the beloved husband of Ruth (Kersey) and loving father of Katharine (Jonathan) McClelland, Marvin (Heather) Dyck, and Kevin Dyck. Four grandchildren also survive. Saved at the age of 11, he later gathered with believers at Merlin. For over 30 years, Bob was in fellowship at Lake Shore, helping with Sunday School work by transporting children. During his illness, he witnessed constantly to health-care workers of his hope in Christ. The large funeral was taken by his boyhood friend, Marvin Derksen, assisted by Larry Perkins and son, Marvin. David Patten spoke at Ravenswood Cemetery."

Falconer family
- Camilla "Cam" Falconer 1932/1957-2004 (1918-2004); T&T: "Camilla Falconer of Lake Shore, ON on December 18, age 86. Born in London, England, our dear brother was reared by his grandmother until age 10. When he would have returned to his mother, he was turned out by his step-father. At age 14, the Barnardo Orphanage sent him to Canada, where he lived and worked on the Hodgson farms. Cam was saved January 2, 1957 as a result of hearing the gospel at Lake Shore. Elva, his wife, was taken home in September 2002. He was a quiet brother and will be missed. Wm. Metcalf and James Beattie spoke the gospel faithfully when family and friends gathered at the hall and grave."

Mrs. Cam Falconer of Lake Shore, ON on July 6, age 84. Born Elva Kersey in Flint, MI, she moved early to Ontario, settling in Ravenswood. The family operated the General Store where the Lake Shore tent was pitched many summers. Elva was saved on August 2, 1936 during meetings with Lorne McBain and Robert Crawford. She had a love and exercise for the proclamation of the gospel, but was confined of late. Family and friends gathered as Fred Krauss and William Metcalf shared the funeral in the hall and the cemetery. Besides her husband, she leaves a son, Bruce, and family.

Many assemblies throughout Ontario were helped by Robert’s building skills. James Jarvis preached the gospel to a large funeral gathering. Philip Grainger gave words of comfort at the grave."

Hodgson family
- Mrs. Henry Hodgson 1894-1964 (1876-1964) passed at her home in Ravenswood in her 88th year on Mar. 26th. She was saved about 70 years ago in this neighborhood through the late brethren, D. Munro and J. Smith, and was in fellowship for many years in the Lakeshore Assembly. She and her late husband were much given to hospitality. The funeral was well attended and the Word was spoken by Albert Klabunda.

"Our dear sister was saved in March, 1901 when the truth of Isaiah 1:18 dawned into her soul while riding home with a team and sleigh after a gospel meeting. Except for a few years when she and her late husband lived in Flint, Mich., she has been in fellowship with the Lake Shore assembly. Her prime motive was to see souls saved. An appropriate gospel message was spoken at the large funeral by Norman Crawford.

- Hugh Kersey @ Forest 1919/1933-1998 (b. 1913 Flint, MI - d. 1998) elder & correspondent +1985-1995; T&T Homecalls: "Hugh John Kersey of Forest, Ontario on January 30, age 85. Our dear brother was born in Flint, Michigan and moved to Ontario in 1919 with his parents. They purchased the General Store in Ravenswood where the Lake Shore Gospel Tent was often pitched. Hugh was saved on August 3, 1933 during a tent series by Charles Keller and Gordon Reager. He had a great interest in gospel work and seeing souls saved and was highly esteemed for his excellent testimony. The funeral was shared by Willlam Seale and John Dennison."

- Mary Wackley McCloy +1983-1997 (1906-1997); T&T: Mrs. Mary (Wackley) McCloy of Forest, ON on February 10, age 91. Our dear sister was born near Ravenswood and was born again in August, 1922 in Windsor, where she met with those who first gathered unto the Lord’s name in that city. After her marriage to David McCloy, they were for many years in the Merlin assembly before retiring to Forest and fellowshipping in Lake Shore. She was a woman of prayer, faithful to the assembly, with a great interest in making clothes for missionary work. Her husband predeceased her in 1983. The funeral was shared by W. Hynes and R. Wylie."
McIntosh family
- Gordon J. McIntosh 1943-2001 (1919-2001); T&T Homecall: "Gordon J. McIntosh of Lake Shore, ON, on June 13, age 82. Our brother was saved in 1934 when the late L. McBain and A. Klabunda had meetings in Glen Rae. He has been in the Lake Shore assembly since 1943, always having a care for the welfare of the assembly. Being a carpenter, he took much of the responsibility for the building of the new hall in 1979-80. He is survived by his wife Helen, family of four, eight grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. The hall was filled to capacity for the funeral, with many from the community attending. It was taken by Win. Metcalf, L. Langfeld, and son Douglas, with brother-in-law Bruce Fuller at the graveside."

- Edward James "Ted" Moody (1895-1976), 76, "of Forest, Ontario, on May 9, following a heart attack. Saved at the age of 15, he was in fellowship with Christians at Ravenswood, Ontario; Central Gospel Hall, Detroit; and since 1942 at Forest, Ontario."

- Enid Electa Moody
- William Douglas Moody (b. 1902 Ravenswood, ON - d. 1945 Lethbridge, AB) died of gastric hemorrhage while serving in the Canadian Army during WWII. He was a member of the United Church in his adult years. Grade 8 completed in country school, at age 13 or 14. Lost 1 year doing farm work during WWI. Studied in a business course in Sarnia but did not qualify for diploma due to failure in shorthand. Pre-WWII jobs: Time checker for Hudson Motors, Detroit for one year, farming near Forest, ON for a short period. Harvest work in the West. Many odd jobs of several months each in machine shop and garage work. Homesteaded 160 acres 1930-1940 at Worsley, Alberta in the Peace River District. Cooked for several weeks. Managed a post office and general store for 2.5 years at Eureka River, Alberta.

- Lena Page 1920-1957 (1908-1994) died in London, Ontario. She "was saved at age 12 in Ravenswood and was in happy fellowship in the Grand Bend assembly for 30 years prior to coming to Highbury seven years ago. She was predeceased by her husband Arthur in 1969. Truly our sister was a sister in the Lord, who served the church long and well, and was a succourer of many with a real heart for the gospel. She is survived by five daughters and a son; She was a loving grandma to 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. K. Moore and M. Derksen took the large funeral."
Pepper family
- William F. Pepper 1947-1975 (1933-2005) William F. Pepper of Clinton, ON on March 4, in his 72nd year. Our dear brother was saved in 1947 at age 14. As a young boy, he was stricken with a degenerative arthritic condition which took its toll with age, and spent the last two years confined to a wheelchair. Previously in Lakeshore, ON assembly, he and his wife Evelyn moved to Clinton in 1975. Even though unable to attend meetings very often in later years, he had a keen interest in the welfare of the assembly. He maintained a courageous and optimistic outlook, cheerful and uncomplaining, despite constant pain, an inspiration to us all with his pleasant smile. The large attendance at two visitations and funeral service shared by brother-in-law Alex Dryburgh, and by Larry Steers, were a tribute to his faithful, consistent testimony. Remember in prayer his wife, who lovingly cared for him in their home, and his aged mother. He is fondly remembered by nieces and nephews who loved and respected “Uncle Bill.”

- Lloyd Rawlings 1915-1959 (d. 1959): Ravenswood, ON: "Our dear brother Lloyd Rawlings went home suddenly on Nov. 11th. He was saved in 1915 in Gospel meetings held by Hugh Walker and Alex Joyce and has gone on well for the Lord in happy fellowship with the assemblies, most of that time in the Lakeshore assembly where he will be missed. The esteem in which he was held was evidenced by the large company from far and near who gathered at the funeral which was taken by A.W. Joyce and F.G. Watson."
- Austin Rawlings 1916-1983+ (d. 2001) Austin Rawlings of Lake Shore, ON on November 4, age 98. In Christ for 85 years, he was saved during gospel meetings in the old Lake Shore Hall with Hugh Walker and Harold Crone preaching. He and his late wife, Verna, who died in 1994, farmed next to the old hall where they took an interest in the assembly’s welfare. He helped much in constructing the new hall in 1979. He was confined to the North Lambton Rest Home for the past 18 years. He leaves one son, Robert of Akron, and grandson, Paul. The funeral service was shared by his nephew Robert Fuller and Wm. Metcalf.;
- Robert Rawlings 1950-1962 (1933-2016): T&T Homecalls: "Robert Rawlings of Akron, OH, on May 2, 2016, age 83. Our beloved brother was saved at the age of 17 while attending gospel tent meetings in Ravenswood, ON. The meetings were conducted by Mr. A. Stewart of Detroit. He was baptized and received into the Lakeshore assembly. Robert moved to Akron and continued in assembly fellowship for 54 years before being called to glory. He was a willing helper in the assembly, gave help building halls, and assembling gospel texts which were widely distributed. The family funeral was conducted by family members. Robert leaves a wife and son and will be missed in the home and in the assembly."
