She was saved in her teens in tent meetings held by Bre. Alex Lamb and William Beveridge. A year or so later, a Gospel Hall was built. She took her place in the assembly and for seventy years never failed in attendance. She was very active until the last few months before her passing. Her life's work was behind the scenes and it was never her desire to be in the spotlight. No doubt her reward will be great. John W. McEwen and Samuel Ellison shared the funeral."

There was a good attendance at the service in the funeral parlour, when a local brother preached the Word. Pray for those who mourn her passing; a sister and many relatives."

She was received into the assembly although very weak physically. Please pray for the gospel spoken at her funeral to friends and loved ones for whose salvation she so greatly longed."

She was a shining light until the end. The well attended funeral was taken by a brother of the local assembly. She leaves four daughters, a son and a brother to mourn her loss."
