See Branches of Plymouth Brethren to explain abbreviation types (although in short: OB (& TW-P) are Halls & Chapels within the "open brethren" (although GH's (generally) maintain a separate network from the Chapels). EB/TW/TW-N are "Careful" Brethren (similar to OB Halls), and BC are (generally) independent community churches with early or indirect PB influence, and will (usually) not consider themselves "Brethren"). AA/CA refers to assemblies of African or Caribbean origin, or predominant demographic, although all ethnicities are overly welcome in any assemblies.

The above primer link expands on the abbreviations, and also contains introduction to this (and other) sheets within the overall History. There have been scores of branches with their own distinctive networks and strengths within the history of the PB, and many branches continue to flourish today, and while no assembly or gathering is identical to the others, each is thought to maintain a fervent desire for simplicity in gathering around the Lord Jesus, though practices and secondary doctrines may vary culturally and/or preferentially as autonomous (yet inter-dependent) local churches.

Assemblies are sorted geographically, and will, D.V., eventually have further history within. Red links on Brethrenpedia are presently undeveloped, and blue links contain data. Stephen was employed in the late 1910's as a drop forger for a sterling silversmith in Wallingford founded by Robert Wallace (1815-1892). In 1930, the Holt family resided at Manhattan, NYC. Miles was employed then for a soda dispensary. In 1945, Lawrence was employed at West Palm Beach, FL for Mr. Caldwell, foreman at the Radio Maintenance Dept. at Morrison Field. Armistead was, as a young man, one of the charter members of one of the earliest YMCA chapters formed in the U.S., in Bloomington, Illinois in 1855, as per his Bloomington-Normal YMCA and his obit at https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/112410517 FindAGrave]. He studied ministry at the Normal University, and his obit states that in "later years he served as an interdenominational lay-preacher on numerous occasions". Children: Mrs. Cecil Robert (Clinton, KY) & Armistead Mason Barry, Jr. (b. 1890 MN - d. 1977 Chatham, ON).
        • Josiah's 1st wife (1835): Sarah Campion Canfield. 2nd wife (1841 @ Essex Co., NJ): Sarah Elizabeth Jackson Canfield (b. 1809 - d. 1842 Rockaway, Morris, NJ). Josiah joined the NJ conference of the Methodist Episcopals as a circuit rider for 30 years starting in 1856. After retiring from preaching, he purchased 80 acres of land in Spring Creek (near Curran), Sangamon, IL introducing "some of the best varieties of fruit from New Jersey, particularly strawberries. He was largely instrumental in the introduction of the Early Rose potato..." as per NAFH.
        • Andrew Barry's father was William Taylor Barry (b. 1784 Lunenburg, VA - d. 1835 Liverpool, England), who in 1829 was appointed U.S. Postmaster General by President Andrew Jackson, and the only member of the Cabinet to remain in office after the "Petticoat Affair" which induced other cabinet secretaries to resign, as per FindAGrave. In 1835, he was appointed the U.S. Ambassador to Spain, but enroute he died in London.
      • Lewis Edward Byassee (b. 1835 Nottoway, VA - d. 1865 Missouri City, Fort Bend, TX), son of John Henry Byassee (b. 1800 Nottoway, VA - d. 1862 Hickman Co., KY) & Elvira Catherine Winfrey Byassee (b. 1810 Lunenberg Co., VA - d. 1892 Clinton, Hickman, KY).

The emigrating ancestor of the Byassee family was Nathaniel Basse (b. 1589 London, Eng. - d. 1654 Cripplegate, London, Eng.), who was given 500 acres (400 land & 100 underwater) in what is now Isle of Wight Co., Virginia. His son John Basse I (b. 1616 London, Eng.; emig. 1623; m. 1638 Nasemond Indian Tribe, VA; d. 1699 Norfolk, VA) & Elizabeth Keziah Tucker Basse (b. 1618 Mansemond, VA - d. 1676 Norfolk, VA). Elizabeth was a pure-blooded Nansemond Indian of the Algonquin tribe. The earliest known ancestor was Sir Auguste Joseph Basse (1500-1534 Mezieres, Bretagne, France).

Wife: Elmira Donavant Byassee (b. 1832 MO; m. 1853 Mississippi Co., MO; d. 1865). In 1850, Elmira resided in Columbus, KY with her brother John W. Donavant (b. 1833 VA - d. 1902 St. Louis, MO), with Benjamin Rossier (b. 1788) & M.A. Rossier (b. 1812). In 1860, John resided in Richmond, VA employed as a printer. By 1870, he was blind, still in Richmond. Elmira's father, William (b. 1795 VA) was also employed (in 1860) as a printer. Elvira's earliest known ancestor was Gideon Booker Winfree (b. 1731 Amelia, VA - d. 1782 Nottoway, VA). Children:
