Albert Edward Booth was born December 15, 1860, in Canada. He was saved as a teenager, and dedicated his life to full-time itinerant work when he was 21, traveling extensively in the U.S. and Canada, and three overseas trips. He was married a number of times, but no children. He died in Pasadena, California on October 25, 1953. In the late 1920's, he was the preacher followed that became the [[Booth Brethren]], that Garrison Keillor was raised among.
