A leading brother of that meeting was a J.F. Springer, who in 1903 was serving as principal of "Erie Academy". I think this may have been John Franklin Springer (b. 1866 Hagerstown, MD - d. 1943 Manhattan, NY) who was an inventor, and resided in Erie many years. The assembly may have initially been composed of him and his wife Celia, and their four children. By 1910, his occupation was as a writer for an assembly magazine based in NYC, of which I have not identified.

He could have been the founder of the Erie Bible Depot, I do not know. I wonder if the publisher in NYC may have been Bible Truth Depot, which I think was in NY at one time or another, if I am not mistaken.
