Albert Edward Booth was born December 15, 1860, in Canada. He was saved as a teenager, and dedicated his life to full-time itinerant work when he was 21, traveling extensively in the U.S. and Canada, and three overseas trips. He was married a number of times, but no children. He died in Pasadena, California on October 25, 1953. In the late 1920's, he was the preacher followed that became the Booth Brethren, that Garrison Keillor was raised among.
