History
Eglise Chrétienne Evangélique de St-Just-de-Bretenières, Montmagny, Chaudière-Appalaches, Southeast Québec, Canada was a French open brethren assembly which had its beginnings in 1979 and active until 2003.
This assembly began in 1979 when believers from the area found it too difficult to continue travelling the fifty miles to fellowship at Montmagny. Until the arrival of a worker at the turn of the century, the assembly was dependent on outside help and ministry from various evangelical groups, including Brethren workers. It did not affiliate with the assemblies until the mid-1980s. In 2003, it severed relations with the Christian Brethren Churches in Quebec, affiliating with the movement Greater Grace of Baltimore, Maryland.
