Milligan family

• Francis "Frank" Henry Milligan 1944?-1969 (1911-1969 Roch., NY), son of Francis "Frank" William Milligan (1885-1964 Roch., NY) & Hannah "Mae" Eilinger Milligan (b. 1886 Roch., NY - d. 1961 East Roch., NY). Mae was a member of Asbury UMC including a prominent ladies bible study, and a retired employee of Aeolian American, a piano manufacturer in East Rochester. Frank William was also employed in 1910 as a piano tuner, tone regulator and salesman, likely with the same company. In 1940, Frank Henry was employed by Eastman Kodak as a photographer, and a coal company clerk in 1930. In 1951, he was chairman of the building committee.
• Helen Westfall Milligan-Oglesby 1944?-1978? (b. 1915 Rochester, NY; m. 1937; d. 2008 Derwood, MD), daughter of Frank Westfall & Nellie McKissock Westfall. 2nd husband (1978): Richard Wellington Oglesby.

  • Wesley Milligan 1947?-1979+ (b. 1947 Roch., NY). Wife: Janet Milligan. Full-time worker with this assembly until 1979 when they commended him to "enter linguistic training with Wycliffe Bible Translators in Dallas, TX. His ministry in the assembly included Bible clubs, jail visitation and Bible classes in local colleges. He enters his new field of work with the full approval of the elders of Congress Bible Chapel.", as per LOI 1979-2.

Musclow family

In 1864, Orville's grandfather Robert Herman Musclow (1864-1957) was born "at sea" while on the ship his parents were taking from the Province of Limburg, Rotterdam, Netherlands to Canada. Robert's parents (Orville's g-grandparents) were Johann Gottfried Muskulus (b. 1819 Bellin, Mecklenburg, Germany - d. 1900 Monteagle Twp., Hastings, ON) & Emilie "Amelia" Caroline Friederike Schroeder Muskulus (b. 1836 - d. 1918 Monteagle, ON). The area where they lived out the remainder of their lives, near Sebastopol & Monteagle is known as Musclow. Johann was affiliated with the Free Will Baptists, and self-employed as a farmer. Orville's father, Oscar, was self-employed as a truck driver for an oil company.

In 1942, Orville was employed by Bausch & Lomb Optical Co.'s offices on St. Paul St. in Rochester, then served as MMS3 in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He later retired from Eastman Kodak. In 1965, he left this assembly to co-found Northgate.

In 1940, Stanley & Mildred resided in York, Livingston Co., Roch. metro, NY. His mother, Maude (1873-1930), was PB by 1901 in Collingwood, Simcoe, New Brunswick. His father, Thomas, was PB in Hamilton, ON by 1901. 1910 @ Pittsburgh, PA. 1930 @ Forward Twp., Butler, PA. In 1940, Thomas was living with his son Stanley Sr. and his family in York, unknown which assembly they initially joined, whether York Gospel Hall, Frost Avenue Gospel Hall, or Carter Ave..

In 1940, Ruth's family resided in Cortland. Harvey was "instrumental" in founding a children's camp in Colombia. He and Ruth served there 1971-1979. Prior to that, as per his obit, he taught in the Palmyra-Macedon Central School District from 1959-1970. He served many years as a resident worker elder at Cornerstone, and in the 1980's-1990's directed a pre-teen week regularly at Camp Li-Lo-Li near Salamanca.
