Dillon family
LOI 1972-1: With The Lord: "Edward G. Dillon, Sr., 85, of Sturgis, Mich., went to be with the Lord Nov. 11, 1971. Mr. Dillon was born in Portadown, Ireland, and came to Rochester, N.Y. in 1907. He began a business career in his earliest years as a dry-goods and ready-to-wear owner in Rochester and later engaged in the same business in Coldwater. In 1931 he entered Christian ministry as a full-time evangelist. He was married to Killy A. Alfsen in 1910. She died January 7, 1971. Surviving are three sons, Adolph of Appleton, Wisc., David and Edward Jr. of Sturgis; one daughter, Mrs Kenneth (Mary) Weiderman of Sturgis, one brother, Harold, of East Orange, N.J., and one sister, Mrs. Paul (Gertrude) Dehlin of Cedarhust, L.I."

Dr. Stratton died in 1942 of a heart attack while polishing his car, at the time (1935-1942) pastoring at First Presby. of Holley.

In 1920, Bessie was residing with her mother and three siblings (Samuel, Joseph, & Sarah) at 658 Chili Ave., in Rochester, she was employed as a stenographer for a clothing company. In 1925, Joseph had relocated, but the rest of the family were still in Rochester. It is presumed that her family was part of the assembly that year. From 1924-1930, Bessie was residing in Asheville, N.C. and employed as a stenographer for a lumber company. Her mother was, in 1930, residing in West Asheville. Never married, no children.
- Peter Holt (b. 1861 Altrincham, Cheshire (now Greater Manchester), Eng. - d. 1910 East Pgh., PA), son of Samuel Holt & Mary Kerr Holt. In 1885, Peter & Sarah were both living at Walkers Mill, now Collier Twp., Allegheny, Pgh. metro, PA. Peter was employed there as a coal miner, which is where they married, and resided in East Pittsburgh until after Peter's death in 1910 due to an embolic stroke, while employed as a machinist. Peter evidently immigrated to the U.S. in 1880, and Sarah in 1884. From 1884-1894, they resided in Bridgeport & Toronto, Ohio.

Lewis family
George worked for Yates American Machine Co. from +1915-1927+, as a wood pattern maker, as was his son William (+1917-1920+). The company's beginnings were in 1878 with the patent of the "Boss Wood Polisher", then renamed "Berlin Machine Works" in 1883 which is traditionally its founding date, and when P.B. Yates purchased the business, perhaps in Rochester. By 1908, it added a factory with 1,000 employees in Hamilton, ON, and in 1918 Beloit, WI. In 1925, Yates acquired "American Wood Working Machinery". In 1933, their machinery was capable of producing 100,000 board feet of dimensional lumber per shift. In 1939, it was listed in the top three largest woodworking manufacturers in the world. See VintageMachinery.org and YAM's website for more history of the company.
George resided 1881-1901 @ Petrolia, Lambton, ON, then in Rochester at 961 Lyell Ave. (+1927-1929+), 93 Warner St. (1915, +1931-1932+) & 441 Selye Terr. (1917-1920 & 1933-1934). He and his family was Methodist in 1891, but he alone was PB by 1901.

In 1942, Arthur was employed by Ritter Dental at 404 West Ave., Rochester that pioneered one of the first dental treatment chairs in 1887, and have been developing equipment ever since.

Perrott family
Frank resided at 766 Frost Ave. +1930-1950+, and was the last known correspondent. He immigrated to Canada with his mother and siblings in 1903, working in 1911 at the age of 15 at a department store in Toronto as an electrician. He immigrated to the U.S. by himself via Buffalo in Jan. 1913 with intent to live in Rochester, and resided at 78 Orting Weis St., Roch., in 1920. Frank's mother Elizabeth, as well as he and his siblings were registered as Anglican in Toronto in 1911. By 1921, Elizabeth had moved in with her daughter Florence Lillian Perrott Martin (b. 1881) and family, and evidently joined their Baptist church.
John C. Moore Corp. aka "City Book Bindery" was his employer in 1941, at 69-71 Stone St. As per MyCompanies.fandom.com, the corporation was founded by John C. Moore in 1839, incorporated in 1904, folded in 1992, and dissolved as a corporate entity in 1998. Its primary industry was bookbinding, index systems and business forms, and was always based in Rochester. Frank's employment in a 1920 census was as a printer in a factory, perhaps the same company.
In 1890-1891, William was self-employed as a manufacturer of ginger beer, with an office at 16 Higher Union St., in Torquay, Devon, England.
In 1937, Frank donated the equivalent of four shillings ($23 in 2025) to the Gospel Literature Fund at Witness.
WiS 1956-2: Fallen Asleep: Roch., NY: "On Dec. 22nd, our beloved brother Frank A. Perrott passed into the presence of the Lord Whom He loved, and Whose Name he sought to honor. Well known in earlier days of the work here, he had a shepherd heart and a hospitable home. As one wrote... “A very honorable Christian man.” His widow wrote, "I hoped and prayed that he might be spared for the Winter, but it was His will to take him just at this season,” Loyal to the truth of God he had learned from the Scriptures through men of God, right to the last. Born in England in 1885 in Devonshire, saved at age of 16."

She was saved 71 years and, with her departed husband, lived for the Lord and had a keen interest in the work of the Lord — hospitable and kind, when able, they both served well during their tenure of life. We counted them amongst earliest supporters of the work of the Lord, to which not a few of His servants can testify. Formerly in fellowship here, latterly in York, N.Y. In failing health for some time. “Their works do follow them.”

She was saved 71 years ago and in fellowship in Rochester, N.Y. and in later years in the Assembly at York, N.Y.
