She was born within three years of her parents being led to Christ by Oliver Garfield Smith, and therefore would have grown up around Clayton Gospel Hall, IA from the beginning. She was saved in June 25, 1970 in Garnavillo. Vivian never married, and died Oct. 6, 1988 in Garnavillo, IA in fellowship with Garnavillo Gospel Hall, IA.
