History

Assemblée chrétienne de Rivière-Beaudette was a French open brethren assembly in Rivière-Beaudette, Vaudreuil-Soulanges, Montérégie, Greater Montreal, Southcentral Quebec, Canada.

The Assemblée chrétienne de Rivière-Beaudette, located some 45 miles to the west of Montreal, was an outgrowth of that in Saint-Léonard. This was likely due to the fact that commended worker Leslie Muirhead was involved in both works. The assembly, which began in 1980, was an outgrowth of the Grande Maison, in fact it could well be considered a grand-daughter of that assembly. Initially considered the potential scene of a fourth major outgrowth of the Grande Maison, it was soon passed by in favour of what eventually became the Église chrétienne évangélique des Moulins at Terrebonne, a work that began in 1982. The assembly at Rivière-Beaudette had closed down by 1985/86, the believers having gravitated to the Baptist Church in nearby Valleyfield.
