This network of Brethren-like churches was created in 1971 by George Geftakys, formerly a commended worker from Grace Bible Chapel, Fullerton, CA and previously in fellowship at Pomona Gospel Hall, CA. There have been up to fifty assemblies in this group around the world, and a website dedicated to its history (and downfall, thru the perspective of some ex-members) at Geftakyassembly.com but there is much research to be conducted with regard to an objective history, as much of the material on this site seems intent on shaming current members, as well as the late founder and family, however there is some invaluable historical data to be found here.
