By 1951, Theodore was serving with the [[Denver Meeting Room, CO|Denver Meeting Room]] in Colorado.   Clara was born and raised in St. Louis, the daughter of Christian (1837-1918) & Caroline Stein (1846-1924) Furstenfeld.  Her father served in the 77th Regiment in the IL Infantry in the Civil War.  Theodore and Clara had two children:
