Fischer family

Theodore served the Bible Truth Depot assembly aka St. Louis Meeting Room (currently the Fenton Meeting Room, MO) from 1927 thru 1944. By 1951, Theodore was serving with the Denver Meeting Room in Colorado.   Theodore's paternal grandfather was Johann Jacob Fischer (b. 1811 Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany - d. 1879 Collinsville, IL), credited in his obit as "one of the earliest settlers of Collinsville and one of the founders of the German Lutheran Church in the West", Holy Cross Lutheran which started in 1848 with his family and four others. By 1850, Johann was self-employed as a blacksmith.

  • Theodore Henry Fischer (b. 1881 Collinsville, Madison, Greater St. Louis, MO - d. 1957 Denver, CO), son of Johann Fischer (b. 1844 IL - d. 1897 Troy, Madison, IL) & Barbara Ordnung Fischer (b. 1843 Germany - d. 1925 Troy, IL).
  • Clara Christine Furstenfeld Fischer +1973+ (b. 1882 St. Louis, MO - d. 1983), daughter of Christian Furstenfeld (1837-1918) & Caroline Stein Furstenfeld (1846-1924). Christian served in the 77th Regt., Illinois infantry during the Civil War.
    • Mildred H. Fischer Waite Nelson (1906-1998) married George Waite @ Boyle Memorial Presbyterian in 1927.
    • "Ted" Theodore Emmett Fischer (1910-1998) married Dr. Ruth M. Fischer (1908-2001). Ruth attended Bradley Polytechnic Institute in Peoria in the 1920's, and was correspondent in 1973 for the Troy Meeting Room, IL, as was relative John Fischer.

McIntyre family

Dr. McIntyre also has served from around 1968 thru recent years with the Gadsden Meeting Room.  He graduated from New York State U in 1962 and has practiced opthalmology for over 52 years.   He did his residency in Birmingham at the Birmingham Eye Foundation Hospital before starting setting up his practice in Gadsden.
