Forbush Gospel Hall was one of the first open brethren assemblies in Iowa, planted by miners from What Cheer Gospel Hall, IA that had been planted a few years prior. The correspondent in 1904 was Jno. Moffatt. At some juncture, this assembly joined What Cheer Gospel Hall, IA which joined Centerville Gospel Hall, which became Centerville Gospel Chapel in 1950, and continued until 2009.
